Tour Details

Day 1: Arrival in Saigon – The Gateway to Adventure

Your adventure begins in the beating heart of Vietnam—Saigon, officially known as Ho Chi Minh City. As your plane descends, the sprawling metropolis stretches out like a tapestry of history and modernity. Our team greets you at the airport and escorts you to your centrally located hotel.

The rest of the afternoon is yours to adjust, whether strolling through French colonial boulevards, sipping iced coffee at a street corner café, or simply resting before the ride.

In the evening, we gather for a welcome dinner at a rooftop restaurant with views across the glittering skyline. This is your first chance to bond with fellow riders, share anticipation for the journey ahead, and savor the spicy-sweet flavors of southern cuisine. The roar of Saigon’s endless motorbikes below becomes a thrilling overture to your own epic Vietnam Big Bike Tour

Overnight in Saigon.

Day 2: Saigon – Nam Cat Tien National Park (150 km / 4–5 hours)

The morning begins with excitement as you mount your Honda CB500X or BMW GS1250 and ease out of the city. Soon the urban chaos dissolves into open countryside, where rice paddies stretch under the sun and farmers in conical hats tend the fields.

The ADV Motorcycle Tour in Vietnam purrs effortlessly on smooth tarmac, and within hours you find yourself beneath the canopy of Nam Cat Tien National Park. Lunch at a local lodge introduces you to organic flavors sourced from the forest itself.

In the afternoon, you’ll hike shaded trails, spotting rare birds or listening to gibbons calling from treetops. Dinner is a rustic spread of jungle herbs, grilled fish, and fresh fruit, taken at a riverside eco-lodge. As night descends, the forest hums with cicadas—a natural symphony marking your first night of motorbike adventure.

Overnight in Nam Cat Tien.

Day 3: Nam Cat Tien – Ta Dung Lake (200 km / 6 hours)

Today the ride ascends into the Central Highlands. You’ll cruise past pepper farms, rubber plantations, and small villages where children wave enthusiastically at your convoy.

The landscape grows wilder with every kilometer until, by mid-afternoon, you arrive at Ta Dung Lake, often dubbed the “Ha Long Bay of the Highlands.” Hundreds of green islands rise from calm waters, a view best appreciated from your lodge perched high on a hillside.

After a long ride on your big bike tour in Vietnam, the serenity of the lake feels almost surreal. Sunset paints the water in fiery hues, and you may toast the moment with local rice wine. Dinner is hearty and welcoming, featuring highland specialties like smoked pork and sticky rice cooked in bamboo tubes.

This evening, under a vast sky alive with stars, you realize the journey has already transformed into something unforgettable.

Overnight in Ta Dung.

Day 4: Ta Dung – Da Lat (180 km / 5–6 hours)

The morning air is crisp as you ride out of Ta Dung. The highway winds through rolling hills, waterfalls tumbling beside the road, and valleys bursting with crops.

By midday, you reach Da Lat, a charming city built by the French and nicknamed the “City of Eternal Spring.” Pine forests line the approach, and the cool air is refreshing after the tropical lowlands.

After check-in, you’ll explore highlights like Bao Dai’s Summer Palace and Xuan Huong Lake. Da Lat’s markets overflow with flowers, strawberries, and artichokes, creating a feast for the senses. Dinner showcases the plateau’s bounty—fresh vegetables, grilled trout, and local wine.

Evening in Da Lat is serene: couples strolling beneath street lamps, cafés glowing softly, and cool mountain breezes drifting through. This is a highlight stop on your Vietnam Big Bike Tours tinerary.

Overnight in Da Lat.

Day 5: Da Lat – Nha Trang via Khanh Le Pass (200 km / 6 hours)

This is one of the most exhilarating days of the Saigon to Hue motorcycle tour. Leaving Da Lat, the road climbs steadily toward the Khanh Le Pass, a twisting ribbon that climbs above the clouds. Riding an ADV bike here is pure joy—every corner reveals new vistas of misty valleys and jungle-clad ridges.

At the summit, you pause to absorb sweeping views before descending toward the coast. As the air grows warmer and saltier, you arrive in Nha Trang, Vietnam’s premier beach destination.

After a refreshing swim in turquoise waters, you’ll feast on seafood: lobster, prawns, and freshly grilled fish. The evening invites relaxation, whether lounging by the pool, walking along the beach, or sampling Nha Trang’s vibrant nightlife.

Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 6: Nha Trang – Quy Nhon (220 km / 6–7 hours)

The road northward hugs the coastline, offering jaw-dropping ocean views on one side and mountains on the other. You pass through fishing villages alive with the scent of dried squid, salt farms glistening white under the sun, and farmers herding ducks across fields.

Each stop is a window into authentic coastal life on your Vietnam motorcycle adventure.

By afternoon, you roll into Quy Nhon, a tranquil seaside city with golden beaches untouched by mass tourism. Your resort sits on a private bay where waves lap gently against the shore.

Dinner includes bánh xèo tôm nhảy—crispy pancakes stuffed with fresh shrimp—a local delicacy. As the sun sinks into the sea, you’ll feel far from the world, embraced by the quiet charm of Vietnam’s central coast.

Overnight in Quy Nhon.

Day 7: Quy Nhon – Hoi An (320 km / 7–8 hours)

An early start sets you on one of the tour’s longest rides. The highway curves through lagoons, sand dunes, and past bustling markets. Midway, you may stop at My Lai to reflect on a poignant chapter of history before continuing north.

By late afternoon, you arrive in Hoi An, one of Vietnam’s most enchanting towns. Lanterns sway gently above narrow streets lined with ancient merchant houses.

After checking in at a boutique hotel, you stroll through the Old Town, where the Thu Bon River reflects thousands of glowing lights. Dinner by the river introduces cao lầu noodles and white rose dumplings—Hoi An’s famous dishes.

Evening here feels magical, as if you’ve stepped back into another era. This is the cultural highlight of your Vietnam Big Bike Tour

Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 8: Hoi An Ancient Town & Countryside Exploration

Today offers a break from long-distance riding. Instead, you immerse yourself in the cultural rhythm of Hoi An.

Wander through its UNESCO-listed streets, visiting the Japanese Covered Bridge, ancient Chinese temples, and colorful tailor shops. Later, you embark on a countryside loop, riding through rice paddies, coconut groves, and peaceful hamlets.

Farmers greet you warmly, and you may stop to watch water buffalo plowing fields or join fishermen casting nets. Lunch is enjoyed in a village restaurant, where flavors are simple yet soulful.

The afternoon is free for shopping or a boat ride on the Thu Bon River. Evening once again belongs to the lanterns, their glow mirrored in the river’s gentle current.

Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 9: Hoi An – Hai Van Pass – Hue (180 km / 5–6 hours)

This day is the crown jewel for riders. Heading north, you approach the legendary Hai Van Pass, a serpentine road immortalized by travel shows as one of the world’s most scenic rides.

On your ADV motorcycle, the climb is smooth yet thrilling, every curve revealing ocean panoramas and mountains cloaked in clouds. At the summit, you stop for photos before descending into Da Nang, then continue toward Hue.

Arriving in the imperial city, you check into a heritage hotel along the Perfume River. Dinner showcases royal cuisine, once reserved for emperors—elaborate dishes served with artistry.

The night invites exploration of Hue’s quiet boulevards, lit by the soft glow of lanterns and history. Truly the ultimate moment of this Saigon to Hue big bike tour.

Overnight in Hue.

Day 10: Hue Departure – Farewell to Vietnam’s Roads

Your final morning begins with breakfast overlooking the Perfume River. If time permits, you may stroll through the Imperial Citadel, walking in the footsteps of Nguyen emperors.

Then, with hearts full and engines silent, you transfer to Hue or Da Nang airport for your onward flight.

The tour concludes, but the memories remain: the roar of your bike across misty highlands, the salt wind of the coast, the laughter of villagers, and the glow of lanterns in Hoi An.

This was more than a journey—it was a story written on Vietnam’s roads, a story that stays with you forever. A true Vietnam Big Bike Tours experience of a lifetime.
