Tour Details

Day 1: Saigon – Cat Tien National Park (~150 km / 4–5 h)

Your adventure revs to life in Saigon—Vietnam’s vibrant megacity, where the energy of motorbikes and street vendors hums like a heartbeat. After a brief orientation and bike assignment—either a sleek Honda CB500X or powerful BMW GS1250—you roll out of the urban maze, leaving horn-blasts and neon behind. The cityscape melts into suburbs and lush green fields, where farmers in conical hats tend to rice paddies and buffaloes graze by the roadside.

Lunch awaits at a countryside lodge, offering tangy salads, fragrant herbs, and warm, sticky rice—simple, yet unforgettable. The afternoon ride gently climbs as you approach Cat Tien National Park, a protected biosphere bursting with biodiversity. Towering trees, sun-rays filtering through dense foliage, and birdsong accompany your arrival. As dusk paints the forest in golden hues, you step into a canopy lodge for dinner. Fresh herbs, grilled fish caught from nearby streams, and a glass of local rice wine create an intimate forest dining experience. The day ends with the nighttime orchestra of cicadas and frogs—a peaceful reward after the hum of Saigon.

This ride marks the beginning of your Vietnam Big Bike Tour

Overnight: Eco-lodge inside Cat Tien National Park.

Day 2: Cat Tien – Ta Dung Lake (~200 km / 6 h)

Reviving with the forest’s morning mist, you fire up your ADV Big Bike and snake through forest-shaded roads, where sunlight dapples across your windshield. Leaving the forest behind, the landscape transforms—cascading hills, coffee and pepper plantations, and villages where curious children offer waves and big grins.

Lunch is served at a rustic roadside eatery—grilled wild boar, bamboo-tube sticky rice, and vegetable sides fragrant with mountain herbs. By afternoon, the air cools as you ascend into Vietnam’s Central Highlands, arriving at Ta Dung Lake, often called the “Ha Long Bay of the Highlands.” Jagged islets float like emerald gems upon calm water.

Your lodge perches above the lake, offering panoramic stillness. As the sun sets, the water ignites with color, and you toast with local rice wine. A gourmet highland dinner follows, featuring smoked pork, root vegetables, and forest berries. Under a star-filled sky, wrapped in tranquility, you feel the true essence of an ADV Big Bike adventure

Overnight: Hill-side lodge overlooking Ta Dung Lake.

Day 3: Ta Dung – Da Lat (~180 km / 5–6 h)

Leaving Ta Dung’s serenity behind, your ride unfolds through rolling hills, waterfalls cascading beside the road, and valleys planted with strawberries, flowers, and artichokes. The ADV Big Bike glides through curves with grace and power.

Midday brings arrival in Da Lat, the “City of Eternal Spring.” Pine-scented air, colonial villas, and mist-shrouded hills greet you. After checking in at a charming boutique hotel, you might explore Bao Dai’s Summer Palace or stroll around Xuan Huong Lake. Da Lat’s bustling market tantalizes with fresh flowers, strawberries, and local treats. Dinner embraces the region’s bounty—dishes such as grilled trout, vegetable hotpot, and crisp salad with edible flowers, paired with local wine. Evening sees the city alive with tiny cafés, softly glowing lights, and the cool, calm mountain breeze. This stage of your Vietnam ADV Big Bike Tour

Overnight: Boutique hotel in Da Lat.

Day 4: Da Lat – Nha Trang via Khanh Le Pass (~200 km / 6 h)

Anticipation peaks today. Your bike climbs into the cloud-kissed Khanh Le Pass, carving through misty mountain forests and dramatic switchbacks. Every corner reveals sweeping vistas of valley and hillside. The descent leads you toward the coast—tropical warmth returns as sea breezes mingle with the rolling highland air.

By afternoon, you reach Nha Trang—white beaches, turquoise waters, and palm-lined boulevards. Check in at a beachfront resort, then dive into the ocean or relax poolside. Dinner is a seafood feast: freshly caught lobster, prawns, and fish grilled with local spices. As night falls, you might stroll the beach lit by moonlight or savor the city’s nightlife vibes.

Overnight: Seaside resort in Nha Trang.

Day 5: Nha Trang – Ngoc Dinh / Nui Chua – Mui Ne (~220 km / 6–7 h)

The coastal road today is pure magic—a dance between ocean and land. Fishing villages glimmer with colorful boats, salt fields reflect the sun, and rocky hills frame the coastal panoramas. A mid-route detour through Nui Chua National Park introduces dry forest terrain—bizarre rock formations, coastal scrublands, and postcard-ready bays.

Lunch in a local village treats you to grilled squid, fresh vegetables, and tropical fruit. Afternoon brings arrival in Mui Ne, known for its surreal dunes. You might wander the White Sand Dunes, sparkling like desert sands, or seek out the tranquil lakes dotted with lotus blooms. As sun dips low, the dunes glow gold—a photographer’s dream. Evening brings dinner at a local seaside restaurant, savoring grilled fish and cool lemonade as the tide whispers nearby.

Overnight: Resort near Mui Ne dunes or Ke Ga area.

Day 6: Mui Ne – Riding & Sand Dunes Exploration (~120 km / 4–5 h)

Today blends ride and discovery. After sunrise, you’ll venture into local life—fishermen on the beach, coracles bobbing on water, and markets alive with chatter. The ADV adventure continues across rugged coastal roads toward the dunes. Rather than dirt-bike, your big bike offers confidence and comfort on the shifting sands.

Take time to walk the dunes, ride a sand sled (or optional dune buggy), and visit lotus lakes nearby. Lunch is seaside, featuring fresh seafood and coconut shakes. The afternoon returns you to Mui Ne’s palm-fringed beaches, where you can relax, swim, or stroll. As evening falls, enjoy dinner under lanterns on the beach—a final night of serenity and reflection.

Overnight: Resort in Mui Ne coastal area.

Day 7: Mui Ne – Saigon (~220 km / 5–6 h) & Farewell

Your final ride threads through rubber, banana, and dragon-fruit plantations, with villages occasionally punctuating the green stretch. Lunch in a rustic café offers a last taste of southern Vietnamese comfort food—firm rice noodles, grilled meats, and iced tea.

By mid-afternoon, the skyline of Saigon re-emerges. Back at the hotel, you’ll return your bike, share stories with riders over farewell coffee, then transfer to the airport or further journey. This loop delivered mountains, lakes, forests, coast, dunes, all from the saddle of your ADV Big Bike. It wasn’t just a tour—it was a journey that moved through terrain and soul, stitching together Southern Vietnam’s most captivating chapters.
