Day 1: Vientiane – Nam Ngum Reservoir – Vang Vieng (160 km)

Continue your ride along winding roads toward the lively town of Vang Vieng, known for its dramatic limestone karsts and scenic rivers. After checking in at your riverside guesthouse, spend the afternoon exploring the iconic Tham Chang Cave. The cave offers breathtaking views over the Nam Song River and surrounding landscapes.
In the evening, enjoy a leisurely dinner at a riverside restaurant, where you can relax and watch the sun set over the cliffs, ending your first day with a blend of adventure and tranquility.
Day 2: Vang Vieng – Phou Khao Khouay National Park – Vientiane (190 km)
After breakfast overlooking the Nam Song River, gear up and ride south toward Phou Khao Khouay National Park, a lush forest reserve known for its waterfalls and diverse wildlife. The route takes you through scenic backroads, past small villages, and through forested areas where you might catch glimpses of local wildlife.
Upon entering the park, make your way to Tad Leuk Waterfall, a serene spot surrounded by tropical forest. Take a refreshing swim in the cool waters and enjoy a picnic lunch by the falls. Afterward, ride deeper into the park to visit Tad Xay Waterfall, a multi-tiered cascade nestled in the jungle, perfect for a quick dip or some time to relax.
As the afternoon winds down, begin the return journey to Vientiane. Ride along quiet country roads, passing by lush rice fields and remote villages. Stop at local markets along the way to pick up some snacks or souvenirs.
