Itinerary:

Day 1: Pakse – Tad Fane – Paksong – Tad Lo (Approx. 180 km)

Your adventure begins as you leave Pakse behind and ride toward the cool highlands of the Bolaven Plateau. The road gradually climbs through coffee plantations and lush countryside, leading you to Tad Fane, an impressive twin waterfall that drops over 120 meters into the jungle below. After the visit, continue your journey to Paksong, the heart of Laos’ coffee-growing region. Stop to visit a local coffee farm, where you can learn about the cultivation process and enjoy a fresh cup of Lao coffee.

From here, the road becomes a bit more adventurous as you head toward Tad Lo, a charming village known for its serene waterfall. Spend the afternoon exploring the area, swimming in natural pools, and meeting local villagers. Settle into a guesthouse by the river and enjoy the peaceful sounds of the waterfall as the day comes to a close.

Day 2: Tad Lo – Sekong – Pakse (Approx. 170 km)

Wake up to the refreshing sights and sounds of Tad Lo. After breakfast, hit the road and head toward Sekong, passing through more of the Bolaven Plateau’s verdant landscapes. The road weaves through rolling hills and small villages, providing opportunities to stop and experience the local way of life.

Continue riding back toward Pakse, taking a scenic route through the southern countryside. Arrive in Pakse in the late afternoon, completing your two-day motorbike loop, filled with memories of waterfalls, coffee plantations, and scenic landscapes.
