DAY 1: Vietnam Motorbike Tours to Mekong Delta & Da Lat, Bao Loc, Lam Dong: SAIGON MOTORCYCLE TOURS PASSING MY THO TO CAI BE (-/L/D)

7.30 AM – Depart from Saigon to Tan An Town by motors through the peaceful villages. The scene changes from bustling streets with buildings and noise to peaceful rice paddles with cottages and small houses on the way – in the open air of “steel horses”. Stop for a rest in My Tho. Lunch in a local restaurant. Keep riding to Cai Be along the sides of Tien River to enjoy the tranquil rice fields, orchards, water buffalos, ducks are swimming in the same rivers.

Arrive at Cai Be in the late afternoon. You, with your motorbikes, will take a boat to the Vietnamese Traditional Ancient House, which is one of the nicest and oldest in the South of Vietnam remained intact over hundred years old and after so many turbulent occurrences in the wartime.
Enjoy a welcome dinner will be prepared by a friendly local host with warmness to get your energy back.

After early breakfast with Vietnam bean coffee, start your day with the motor rides on the island. It is a great chance for you to meet the local villagers, farmers. A short cruise on Tien River to visit the most unique floating market of Southern Vietnam. Disembark in Vinh Long pier in the late morning; we head for Cantho on your motors with stops on the way to experience the daily life in the Mekong Delta region.
Overnight in Cantho.

6.30AM – Ride to Ninh Kieu Pier to take a boat trip to Cai Rang floating market, one of the busiest fruit market in Southeast Asia. We have a long distance cruise & walk on a quiet country road to take in the magnificent scenery and get close to the locals as they go about their daily routine. Back to the Hotel for breakfast.

Then we will have a short visit to Can Tho central market and Binh Thuy ancient house whose design is a combination of Vietnam and France with interesting involved stories but also a garden with various flowers and fruits, including a wide range of orchids and a record cactus.

Day 4 : Vietnam Motorbike Tours to Mekong Delta & Da Lat, Bao Loc, Lam Dong: HO CHI MINH CITY MOTORCYCLE TOURS TO BAO LOC – LAM DONG – DA LAT (B/L/D)

The journey northwards begins as we depart Ho Chi Minh and pass through the many tea and coffee plantations to the hill station of Da Lat, sometimes known as the “City of Eternal Spring”. The drive is long but views are fantastic all along the way.

Once arriving in Da Lat we can soak up the cool climate as much as we want by spending our time to wander around and catch our first glimpse of this town. The influence of the French is evident in local culture and architecture since Da Lat was founded as a hill retreat for the colonials to escape the oppressive heat in the coastal plains and the chaos of Saigon. This charming town is set around a lake and surrounded by forests, waterfalls and rolling countryside.

Day 5 : Vietnam Motorbike Tours to Mekong Delta & Da Lat, Bao Loc, Lam Dong: DA LAT MOTORCYCLE TOURS TO MUI NE CAPE (B/L/D)

Today we enjoy a drive through the charming pine hill to the summer residence of Vietnam’s last Emperor Bao Dai. He was forced to abdicate in 1945, shortly after the end of the World War II. This mansion displays a lovely collection of Vietnam treasures. We follow it with a trip to the sacred Lam Ty Ni Pagoda and the Hang Nga Guesthouse.

This construction is well known as the Crazy House because of its bizarre architecture. The lively central market and the old rail station are also visited before we travel by roads passing through the undulating terrains to the picturesque coastal town of Mui Ne. En route we stop at Ca Na beach to see friendly fishermen using fishing nets to catch fish or communicate with the locals to understand more about their life.

Check-in at the hotel in Mui Ne and then free time to view the Sunset on the sea.

DAY 6 : Vietnam Motorbike Tours to Mekong Delta & Da Lat, Bao Loc, Lam Dong: MUI NE CAPE WITH SAND DUNE TOUR – MOTORCYCLE TOURS TO PHAN THIET (B/L/D)

Morning, breakfast & check out. Back on our motorbike and ride 35kms forwards to famous Phan Thiet. On the way, pay a visit at the Fairy stream, then pause to discover the fishing village of Mui Ne and further on is the enormous red sand dunes. Continue your trip and enjoy the motor ride with stop to discover how fishermen doing the daily work: net fishing, selling fish, mending fishing net.

Last stop is at Bau Sen – a vast sand dune which has inspired numerous photographers for many years. We arrive in Phan Thiet around 2.00PM. The rest of day is your own at leisure. This day is also a chance for you to try wind-surfing on beautiful beaches at Phan Thiet (optional)

Morning, breakfast & check out then you will be at leisure on the beach for a while. After that, we will ride to visit to Duc Thanh School – the first school built in Central Vietnam where the national Hero “Ho Chi Minh” used to be a teacher there, then visit Chua Ong Pagoda. A stop to explore the central market before continues drive to Van Thuy Tu – a temple where fishermen in Phan Thiet believe and worship their God of the Sea.
We then have a lunch at a local restaurant before riding back to Saigon. End of the trip

5 of us did the 10 day Northern Vietnam Off-road Loop at the end of November, very ably assisted by by our guide, Giang, and support vehicle driver, Dong.We logged over 1800km in 9 days of riding, saw some absolutely amazing scenery, partook in local delicacies, met and partied with ethnic people and had an epic trip.Everything around the trip was managed efficiently by Mike Dong, including organising Vietnamese drivers licences for us all. The bikes we had (CRF300L) performed well with only two flat tyres to speak of. The accommodation choices (apart from one night) were comfortable and adequate, the meals were delicious and plentiful.The whole trip went like clockwork and we got to see places few other tourist would ever get to see.I would definitely recommend this tour or shorter trips if you feel 10 days is a bit much.

We felt safe at all times and were allowed to experience small cultural excursions practically every day. He showed us beautiful places, introduced us to local culture and was able to tell us an incredible amount about the country. Brilliant 6 days, the tours are road based with a little bit of riding on un paved roads, Ducky was our guide, ex-road racer which suited us as we like to push on. Was amazing to see all the villagers, people waving, nothing like miserable old England where everyone thinks your doing something illegal. We did a 10 day tour. Lihn was our guide. Great guy. We had a Canadian guy join us, so 4 in total. Amazing time, 10 days few by. I had a gopro on my helmet facing forward, Lihn had one facing back. Completed the 10 Day trip. It was guided and tailored to our riding abilities. Sadly we came at a time with flooding and could not complete some tracks because of this. The food was amazing at every location. Homestays were fantastic, nice people. Ducky had good knowledge about the locations and good recommendations
