DAY 1: Saigon Motorbike Tour to Angkor Wat, Phnom Penh via Mekong Delta for 7 Days: SAIGON MOTORCYCLE TOUR via My Tho to Can Tho (-/L/D)

7.30 AM – Depart from Saigon to Tan An Town by motor through the peaceful villages. The scene changes from bustling streets with buildings and noise to peaceful rice paddles with cottages and small houses on the way – in the open air of “steel horses”. Stop for a rest in My Tho. Lunch in a local restaurant.

Keep riding to Can Tho along the sides of the Tien River to enjoy the tranquil rice fields, orchards, water buffalos, and ducks are swimming in the same rivers. Arrive at Can Tho in the late afternoon. You, with your motorbikes, will take a boat to the Vietnamese Traditional Ancient House, which is one of the nicest and oldest in the South of Vietnam remained intact over hundred years old and after so many turbulent occurrences in the war time. Enjoy a friendly dinner on the bank of Hau River and watch the hustle & bustle nightlife in Can Tho.

DAY 2 : Saigon Motorbike Tour to Angkor Wat, Phnom Penh via Mekong Delta for 7 Days: SIGHTSEEING TOUR AT CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – CAN THO MOTORCYCLE TOUR TO CHAU DOC (B/L/D)

6.30AM – Ride to Ninh Kieu Pier to take a boat trip to Cai Rang floating market, one of the busiest fruit market in Southeast Asia. We have a long distance cruise & walk on a quiet country road to take in the magnificent scenery and get close to the locals as they go about their daily routine. Back to Hotel for breakfast.

Then we will have a short visit to Can Tho central market and Binh Thuy ancient house whose design is a combination of Vietnam and France with interesting involved stories but also a garden with various flowers and fruits, including a wide range of orchids and a record cactus.

Motorcycle heading straight to Chau Doc and en route, we’ll stop by to visit a very famous Stork Garden named Bang Lang where you’ll have a chance to witness thousands and thousands of storks & birds converging here in your own eyes. Upon arrival at Chau Doc, you’ll be helped to check in at the hotel and free to stroll around. Overnight at a hotel in Chau Doc.

After having breakfast at the hotel, We’ll take a high boat trip upstream Mekong River to Phnom Penh. Along the journey, you’ll have a chance to experience the beauty of the Mighty Mekong River cum its stunning landscapes of rice paddies, gardens, and local villages along the banks of the river.

At noon, you’ll get to Phnom Penh and right here, there will be our guide & driver welcoming & escorting you to your hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, you’ll be going to discover Phnom Penh with visits to the magnificent Royal Palace, the notorious Killing Fields of Choeung Ek where a memorial stupa stands in front of the mass killing site.

Your adventure begins in Phnom Penh, the bustling capital of Cambodia. After a brief orientation and safety check, you’ll hit the road, heading northeast towards Kampong Cham, a journey of approximately 125 km.
 
The route takes you through the scenic countryside, offering a glimpse into rural Cambodian life. You’ll ride past traditional stilt houses, rice paddies, and small markets bustling with activity. Along the way, stop at Wat Phnom Pros and Wat Phnom Srey, two significant hilltop pagodas with intriguing legends and panoramic views.
 
As you approach Kampong Cham, cross the historic French-built Kizuna Bridge, one of the longest bridges in Cambodia, spanning the Mekong River. Upon arrival in Kampong Cham, explore the town’s colonial architecture and visit the iconic Wat Nokor Bachey, a fascinating temple complex that blends Angkorian and modern Buddhist structures. End your day with a riverside dinner, enjoying the sunset over the Mekong.

On the second day, depart Kampong Cham and ride northwest towards Kampong Thom, covering approximately 140 km. This leg of the journey takes you deeper into Cambodia’s heartland, where the landscape becomes more rural and serene.
 
One of the highlights along this route is a stop at the Phnom Santuk mountain, a significant pilgrimage site. Here, you’ll find a long staircase leading up the hill, lined with beautiful statues and offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside. At the summit, explore several ancient pagodas and reclining Buddha statues that are highly revered by the local community.
 
Continuing your ride, you’ll pass through small villages and vast farmlands, where you can observe daily life in rural Cambodia. As you approach Kampong Thom, consider stopping at the Sambor Prei Kuk, an impressive pre-Angkorian temple complex nestled in the forest. These temples, dating back to the 7th century, offer a glimpse into the early history of the Khmer Empire.
 
Arrive in Kampong Thom in the late afternoon. This peaceful town along the Stung Sen River offers a perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploration. Enjoy a traditional Khmer dinner and prepare for the next leg of your journey.

On the final day of your motorbike tour, you’ll ride from Kampong Thom to Siem Reap, a distance of about 150 km. The road to Siem Reap is more developed but still offers plenty of opportunities to experience the local culture and scenery.
 
As you travel, make a stop at the ancient Naga Bridge (Spean Praptos) in Kampong Kdei. This well-preserved stone bridge, dating back to the Angkorian period, is a testament to the architectural prowess of the Khmer Empire. It’s one of the few surviving bridges from this era and features intricate carvings of naga (mythical serpent) balustrades.
 
Continuing towards Siem Reap, the landscape gradually transforms into the lush, green plains surrounding the Tonle Sap Lake. As you approach Siem Reap, the excitement builds, knowing that you are nearing the world-renowned Angkor Wat temple complex. Arrive in Siem Reap by late afternoon, where you can spend the evening exploring the vibrant city or preparing for a visit to the Angkor temples the following day.

Day 7: Saigon Motorbike Tour to Angkor Wat, Phnom Penh via Mekong Delta : Sightseeing Tour in Ta Prohm, Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom (B,-,-)

Travel by car (Motorbike not allowed by authority). Early morning, visit the picturesque Ta Prohm that had nearly disappeared into the jungle and remains overgrown, an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of a tree, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, evoke feelings that you may remember forever.

And continue to visit the intricately carved Khmer ruins at Angkor Wat – one of the world’s most impressive ruins. The temple still owns fine Apsara carvings in Angkorian era art. Continue exploring the mysterious Royal city of Angkor Thom. The 54-tower temple of Bayon is an awesome sight with hundreds of smiling faces.

Then visit the surroundings of the complex including the Baphuon, Elephant Terraces, Leper King Terrace and Royal Palace. Overnight in Siem Reap.
