The landscape changes quickly, shifting from urban sprawl to lush countryside dotted with palm trees, rice fields, and small rural villages. The ride offers plenty of chances to witness Cambodia’s tranquil rural life and stop at local pagodas and markets.

As you approach Kampot, the air becomes fresher with the influence of the nearby coast and rivers.
