Itinerary:
Day 1: Phnom Penh – Kampot (Approx. 150 km)
Your motorbike adventure starts in Phnom Penh, the bustling capital of Cambodia. After breakfast, gear up and set off south along scenic roads toward the charming riverside town of Kampot. Along the way, you’ll pass through lush countryside, rice fields, and traditional Khmer villages, offering opportunities to stop and interact with locals.
As you continue, stop for a quick break at the Tonle Bati Lake, where you can visit the ancient Ta Prohm Temple and enjoy the peaceful scenery. Afterward, ride further south, passing pepper plantations and salt fields, iconic to the Kampot region.
Arrive in Kampot by the afternoon and check into your guesthouse by the riverside. Spend the evening exploring the relaxed town of Kampot, enjoying local cuisine, and soaking in the laid-back atmosphere. Don’t miss the chance to stroll along the Kampot River as the sun sets over the mountains.
Day 2: Kampot – Phnom Penh (Approx. 150 km)
Wake up to the peaceful sounds of Kampot and enjoy a leisurely breakfast by the river. Before leaving, take time to explore the region’s highlights, such as the Phnom Bokor National Park. A ride up the mountain offers panoramic views and the chance to visit the eerie, abandoned French hill station.
On your way back to Phnom Penh, stop by a pepper plantation, where you can learn about Kampot’s world-famous pepper and even purchase some to take home. Continue riding through scenic rural landscapes, making a stop for lunch at a roadside restaurant.
Arrive back in Phnom Penh by late afternoon, completing your two-day loop filled with scenic countryside views, cultural stops, and memorable adventures.
